Another incident challenging law and order has come to light in Jalandhar. Bike-borne miscreants opened fire in broad daylight at the BMS Fashion showroom located at Kishanpura Chowk. The showroom’s glass shattered after being hit by the bullet. The attackers fled the scene immediately, leaving the area gripped by panic.
According to eyewitnesses, two youths on a motorcycle arrived in front of the showroom and fired a shot while the vehicle was in motion. The bullet struck the showroom’s glass directly, shattering it completely. The sound of the gunshot caused a stir among nearby shopkeepers. Upon learning of the incident, the showroom owner informed the police. A police team promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation; they also recovered a spent shell from the location.

The entire incident was recorded on the showroom’s CCTV cameras. The footage clearly shows two youths on a motorcycle firing from the moving vehicle and immediately fleeing the spot. The police are now working to identify the accused based on the CCTV footage.
