Arvind Ranjan, the eldest son of Indrajit Baitha—a resident of the city’s Mirza Toli area—has achieved success in the BPSC examination, securing the position of SDC (Sub-Divisional Officer/Deputy Collector). His achievement has brought an atmosphere of joy to both his family and the entire neighborhood.
Following the announcement of the results, Arvind Ranjan received a grand welcome on Sunday, complete with a musical band. Sweets were distributed, and the neighborhood celebrated the occasion. Residents and well-wishers offered their congratulations, presenting him with bouquets and traditional shawls (*angavastras*) and sharing sweets. **Graduation from Delhi**
Arvind Ranjan shared that he completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering in Delhi. Subsequently, he prepared for the BPSC exam. In 2024, he received his first posting as a Revenue Officer.
**Secured 355th rank in BPSC, became an SDC**
He continued his studies while working. He appeared for the 70th BPSC examination and secured the 355th rank, thereby becoming an SDC. However, his ultimate goal is the UPSC; he aspires to serve the country as an IAS officer. Arvind Ranjan’s mother, Sita Kumari, currently works as a teacher at the Middle School in the city’s Cantonment area, while his father serves as an SDPO in Banka.
Arvind Ranjan credits his parents and well-wishers for this achievement. Among those who extended their congratulations were Kanhaiya Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Madan Kumar, and Munna Kumar.
