The City Police achieved a major breakthrough late Monday evening when a team raided a salon and apprehended 12 individuals found in possession of illegal weapons, live ammunition, and 100 grams of heroin.
The police have registered a case against these individuals—naming approximately 20 people in total—under relevant sections of the BNS, the Arms Act, and the NDPS Act. It is reported that the group supplied arms and heroin at the behest of the notorious ‘Vishal Pachar’ gang.

DSP Harish Kumar and Station House Officer (SHO) Maninder Singh stated that they had received information about a gang—operating under Vishal Pachar’s instructions to supply illegal weapons and heroin—that was currently plotting at ‘Unique Salon’ near the Fazilka Road *Chungi* (toll point).
Acting on this information, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Amandeep Singh led a police team to raid the premises; they apprehended 12 individuals—seizing four pistols, six magazines, 47 live rounds, and 100 grams of heroin—and registered a case against a total of 20 people. Police officials stated that a case has been registered against the following individuals: Ajay Singh (alias Ajju), son of Raju Singh (resident of Seed Farm Pakka, Abohar); Bobby, son of Kala Ram (Kashyap Colony, near Johri Mandir, Abohar); Akash Kumar (alias Prince Talli), son of Pradeep Kumar (Panjpir Nagar, Abohar); Lalit Ram, son of Brijesh Kumar (Nanak Nagari, Abohar); Mithun, son of Baldev (Chandigarh Mohalla, Abohar); Ravi ‘Doctor’ (alias Ravi), son of Jagdish (Purani Fazilka Road, Abohar); Sanjeev (alias Aloo), son of Kalu Ram (Prem Nagar, Abohar); Amanpreet Singh (alias Bhindi), son of Mukhtyar Singh (Sardar Colony, Abohar); Aman Kumar, son of Raju (DR Colony, Abohar); Vijay Kumar, son of Umesh Kumar; Ajay Kumar (alias Rishi), son of Umesh Kumar; Roshan Kumar, son of Pawan Kumar (Sardar Colony, Abohar); Ghanaiya Kumar, son of Babu Ram (Kandhwala Road, Abohar); Sumit Kumar, son of Neterpal Singh (Burja Chowk, Abohar); Prince Kumar, son of Pintu Kumar (Purani Fazilka Road, Abohar); Shiva, son of Sunil Kumar (Prem Nagar, Abohar); Shivam, son of Bhola Ram (Eidgah Basti, Abohar); Navninder Singh (alias Lavpreet Singh/Sinni), son of Jasveer Singh (Abohar); Monu Nai (owner of Unique Salon, Fazilka Chungi, Abohar); and Nivshal Pachar (resident of Jawahar Nagar, Sri Ganganagar).
Police officials further stated that Ajay Singh, Bobby, Amanpreet Singh, Aman Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Kumar (alias Rishi), Ghanaiya Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Prince Kumar, Shiva, Shivam, and Navninder Singh have been apprehended.
