A 38-year-old man was allegedly attacked and killed with sharp-edged weapons in Chora village, falling under the jurisdiction of the Urban Estate Police Station, on suspicion of stalking a young woman. Inspector Sukhwinder Singh Gill, SHO of the Urban Estate Police Station, stated that the deceased has been identified as Baljinder Singh, alias Bali (38), a resident of Chora village. A case has been registered against Paramjit Singh (60), Gurinder Singh (23), and a young woman; Paramjit Singh and Gurinder Singh have been arrested.
He stated that the preliminary investigation revealed the accused suspected Baljinder Singh of stalking and harassing their daughter, who works at a PVR cinema. According to the police, he had been warned previously, but his alleged actions did not cease. Consequently, the accused attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, resulting in his death. The investigation into the matter is currently ongoing. Inspector Gill added that further action would be taken based on any new facts that emerge during the investigation.
