To facilitate passengers and traders, the Ferozepur Division will provide round-the-clock (24-hour) parcel booking services at the Ludhiana parcel office from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. During this period, customers will be able to book their parcels directly at the railway counter. Ludhiana is one of the country’s major commercial hubs for the hosiery and textile trades.
During the hosiery season, large quantities of garments, hosiery products, and other commercial goods are dispatched from here to various parts of the country. The demand for parcel booking rises during this time due to increased commercial activity. Keeping this need in mind, the Ferozepur Division has taken a significant initiative to assist traders, customers, and passengers. According to the railway administration, the Ferozepur Division is committed to providing safe, convenient, transparent, and timely parcel services to traders and passengers.
The availability of 24-hour parcel booking will offer traders greater flexibility in booking their consignments and will also boost the transportation of goods via rail. Passengers and traders are urged not to book through unauthorized individuals or agents but to utilize the official railway parcel booking facility.
