An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of District President Ashok Sarin ‘Hikki’ to review preparations and discuss the upcoming strategy for the proposed mega-rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Jalandhar, organized by the BJP’s Jalandhar Urban unit. Detailed discussions took place regarding organizational preparations, public outreach campaigns, booth-level responsibilities, and ensuring maximum participation from all 117 assembly constituencies to make the rally historic and unprecedented. Punjab BJP General Secretary (Organization) Srinivasalu specially attended the meeting. Also present were State Vice President Rakesh Rathore, former Cabinet Minister Manoranjan Kalia, former Parliamentary Secretary Krishan Dev Bhandari, Punjab SC Morcha State President Sheetal Angural, State Secretary Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, senior BJP leader Dinesh Dhall, and District General Secretary Rajesh Kapoor.
Addressing the meeting, BJP District President Ashok Sarin ‘Hikki’ stated that Punjab is currently reeling under the scourge of drugs, gangsterism, murders, robberies, and a deteriorating law-and-order situation, while the Aam Aadmi Party government remains a mute spectator. He remarked that the future of Punjab’s youth is being surrendered to the drug mafia, and criminals are acting with impunity. At such a critical juncture, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s mega-rally in Jalandhar will serve to save Punjab and steer it toward a new direction of change.
Ashok Sarin ‘Hikki’ noted that the people’s trust in the BJP and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has steadily strengthened, as the public recognizes that only the BJP possesses the willpower and capability to liberate the state from the drug menace, mafia rule, and a corrupt system. He asserted that while the Aam Aadmi Party has delivered only anarchy, crime, and despair to Punjab in the name of change, the BJP is committed to transforming Punjab into a safe, prosperous, and progressive state.
Hikki added that this rally would serve as the most significant democratic expression of the Punjab public’s anger against the drug mafia, criminals, and the corrupt system. He stated that the people of Punjab are now fed up with false promises and political deception, and the path is being paved for the creation of a new Punjab under BJP leadership in 2027. He claimed that this clarion call rising from Jalandhar would herald a political transformation across the entire state.
