The girl’s father, Gurvinder Singh—a resident of Bauda Kalan—recounted the incident, stating that he was traveling to Bauda Kalan on a motorcycle with his daughter on the morning of September 19. Around 9:15 AM, three young men were standing on the road. These individuals had committed a robbery a few days prior and were angered by the complaint filed against them; they were the ones who carried out this attack. They boasted that neither the police nor the local MLA could harm them. According to Gurvinder Singh, one of the youths attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. He tried to evade the blow, but the weapon struck his four-year-old daughter’s throat as she sat on the motorcycle, causing severe injury. Following the incident, the three youths allegedly fled the scene while issuing threats. The child was taken to Rajindra Hospital, where she is receiving treatment under medical supervision.
