Krishna Kumar, a resident of Chiriya Salempur, had left home at the age of just 20, driven by a spirit of patriotism, to join the Army. When he returned to his village after 40 years of service to the nation, the entire village was immersed in celebration. Villagers welcomed him on the Bundelkhand Expressway, accompanied by a long convoy of vehicles.
Soldier Krishna Kumar’s family includes his wife, Shakuntala Devi; sons, Rahul and Yogesh; and daughters, Rani, Rajni, and Rukmani—all of whom are married.
Upon receiving news of his arrival, a large number of villagers gathered at the Bundelkhand Expressway. As soon as Soldier Krishna Kumar arrived, the villagers welcomed him by garlanding him and raising patriotic slogans. Subsequently, a welcome procession, featuring dancing and singing to the tunes of a DJ and a musical band, escorted him to the village.
Upon reaching the village, Village Head representative Ashu Tiwari invited him to his home, honored him with a garland, and expressed gratitude for his service to the country. Many villagers, including Jaideep Tiwari, Ramkesh, Wazir Saxena, Deepak, Pankaj, and Ravi, were present on the occasion.
