New Delhi. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are currently busy with their upcoming film ‘Ranabaali’. In a recent interview, the duo shared how much they love the music of ‘Dhurandhar’.
During a recent conversation, when asked which Hindi songs are currently popular in the South, Vijay immediately mentioned the ‘Dhurandhar’ soundtrack.
‘Dhurandhar’ Songs Play in Gyms
Speaking to podcaster Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay mentioned that the film’s songs have become quite popular in gyms across South India. He noted that ‘Dhurandhar’ tracks play non-stop in these gyms. However, when asked to name a specific song, Vijay couldn’t recall it instantly and asked Shubhankar to hum the tune. During the same conversation, Vijay also mentioned that he enjoys listening to various independently released songs.
To Appear Together in ‘Ranabaali’
As for their upcoming projects, Vijay and Rashmika will be seen together in the film ‘Ranabaali’. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 16.
Set against the backdrop of British rule between 1854 and 1878, this Telugu period drama is a fictional story based on lesser-known tales from the Rayalaseema region. Vijay plays the lead character ‘Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali’, while Rashmika portrays ‘Jayamma’. This film marks the third time the two will share screen space. Before their marriage, the two appeared together in two films: *Geetha Govindam* and *Dear Comrade*. *Ranabali* is directed by Rahul Sankrityayan.
