According to an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-I) of the state government, Engineer Narendra Pal Singh Chauhan will be relieved of his duties on the afternoon of December 31. As per the notification issued by Principal Secretary (Personnel) M. Sudha Devi, the Governor of the state has granted approval for this premature retirement—based on the Chief Engineer’s own request—by exercising the powers vested under Rule 4(2) of the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Premature Retirement) Rules, 2022.
