Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) held a meeting of SGPC members at Chandigarh headquarters today (22 January). Former party chief and senior leader Sukhbir Singh Badal and SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami were also present in the meeting.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Sukhbir Badal said that there are huge irregularities in the SGPC voter list. Votes of people of many other religions have also been made. This matter will be raised before the Gurdwara Election Commission tomorrow.

Membership drive of Shiromani Akali Dal has started from 20th January. Many big leaders have joined the party. Many big leaders including Sukhbir Singh Badal have taken membership of the party. Akali Dal has set a target of making 50 lakh members.
