Those who cross voted in the mayor election will be identified: Congress is busy making strategy, report will be sent to the high command, AAP is also brainstorming

Date:

Just before the Delhi assembly elections, by winning the Chandigarh mayor election through cross voting instead of majority, BJP has played a trick with all the parties. A round of allegations and counter allegations has started between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which are part of the All India Alliance. Now both the parties are preparing to identify those who did cross voting.

According to sources, Congress will soon send a report to the high command regarding the elections. Before this, a committee will be formed and all the investigations will be done. At the same time, brainstorming has also started in AAP. If experts are to be believed, by the time both the parties brainstorm, BJP will cash in on this thing in the assembly elections to be held in Delhi after four days.

Even after keeping an eye, they could not save their fort

AAP and Congress suspected from the beginning that BJP can play a trick. In such a situation, four days before the elections, Congress and AAP had shifted their councilors out of Chandigarh. Congress kept its councilors in Ludhiana, while AAP kept the councilors in Ropar. From their phones to every activity, everything was being monitored. Councillors were even made to take oath at religious places, but still the parties could not do anything.

While all the councillors from BJP were in the city. Apart from this, BJP also appeared united after the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, work was done on the weak points of India Alliance from the very beginning. First of all, everyone was surprised by getting Congress’s 27th ward councillor Gurbaksh Rawat inducted into BJP two days before the elections. After this, it was claimed that some more people can also join the party. However, there was also talk going on inside that their councillors are not satisfied with AAP’s mayor candidate. But the party ignored this thing.

Brainstorming is necessary for both AAP and Congress

BJP had 16 councillors in Chandigarh elections, while India Alliance had 20 councillors. But when the mayor election was held, BJP’s Harpreet Kaur got 19 votes and alliance candidate Premlata got 17 votes. During this, three votes were cross-voted. Due to which it is clear that these votes were cast by the councillors of the alliance for the BJP candidate.

Due to which Congress-supported AAP candidate Prem Lata lost the election. Similarly, Jasbir Bunty of Congress won the post of Senior Deputy Mayor. But despite the alliance having 20 votes, he got 19 votes, while Vimala Dubey of BJP got 17 votes. Here also one vote was cross-cast.

Similarly, Taruna Mehta of Congress got 19 votes for the post of Deputy Mayor. While BJP got 17 votes. Here one vote was cross-cast. Congress President HS Lucky has clarified that this matter will be investigated. Also, black sheep will be identified.
