AG had written a letter to the government for appointment

Haryana Advocate General had written a semi-official letter to the government on April 1. On the basis of which the Haryana government has constituted a selection committee under the chairmanship of the Advocate General. Now this selection process will be completed soon.

Controversy going on in HC regarding reservation in law officers

Not giving reservation to any class including Divyang, SC and BC in the appointment of law officers in Haryana Advocate General Office was challenged in the High Court. On this petition, the Punjab-Haryana High Court has ordered the Haryana government to file a reply.

While filing the petition, Mohit Garg told the High Court that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India had decided to identify posts for disabled people by issuing a notification on January 4, 2021.

The Haryana and Punjab governments have accepted this, but the benefit of 4 percent reservation for the disabled is not being released.
