The weather in Punjab is once again poised to take a turn. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a strong possibility that a fresh spell of rainfall will commence across the state. Over the past few days, temperatures had been steadily rising due to intense sunshine, and the heat had begun to make its presence felt during the daytime. Now, according to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely in several parts of the state from April 16 to April 19. Additionally, a ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued for several districts for a two-day period.
According to the department, light rainfall may begin in various locations across the state starting April 16, and this pattern could persist until April 19. Furthermore, for April 17 and 18, there is a possibility of strong winds and lightning accompanying the rain. A Yellow Alert has been issued for several areas for these two days.
According to the Meteorological Department, a Yellow Alert has been issued for the districts of Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, and Muktsar for April 17. Similarly, a Yellow Alert has also been issued for the districts of Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Rupnagar for April 18.
