Renowned Punjabi singer Ammy Virk is currently making headlines. Ammy Virk shared an anecdote recounting how he found himself in a difficult predicament while attempting to help an elderly man. He revealed that about six years ago, he came across a video of a needy elderly man; moved to help, he wrote out a cheque for ₹7 lakh and sent it to his friends, instructing them to hand it over to the elderly man. He further explained that shortly thereafter, he received a phone call from his wife, who informed him that there was only ₹2.5 lakh available in their bank account.
Upon receiving this news, he began to pray fervently, pleading that the cheque not be deposited at the bank immediately, as it would inevitably bounce. His prayers were answered; by Monday, he received the payment for a show he had performed, and everything worked out in the end. He advised people against acting out of sheer bravado or showing off, warning that doing so could lead to them getting into trouble rather than successfully helping someone.
