In this industrial city, the audacity of criminals has reached such heights that they have now begun targeting even luxury motorcycles. In a brazen daylight robbery, bike-borne miscreants targeted a young man who was traveling from the Pavilion Mall towards Session Chowk—a posh locality within the city. The robbers snatched the youth’s valuable ‘Harley-Davidson’ motorcycle and fled the scene, sending shockwaves throughout the entire area. The victim immediately reported the incident to the police. Based on the complaint filed by Madhav Goyal, the police at Division No. 8 Police Station have registered a case and are currently scrutinizing footage from nearby CCTV cameras to identify the accused and apprehend them as soon as possible.
According to the information received, the complainant stated in his statement to the police that on April 2, he was riding his black Harley-Davidson motorcycle (Registration No.: PB02DM-5757, Model: 2019) from the Pavilion Mall towards Session Chowk, heading home. While he was en route, two unidentified youths riding a motorcycle suddenly blocked his path in a “filmy style,” forcing him to come to a halt.
According to the victim, after he stopped his motorcycle, the miscreants began verbally abusing and intimidating him. Before he could even comprehend what was happening, the criminals forcibly snatched the motorcycle keys, robbed him of his valuable Harley-Davidson, and fled the scene.
