The Forest Department has completed preparations for the jungle safari at Amangarh Tiger Reserve, which is set to begin on November 1st. Ten vehicles will be permitted to enter the reserve during both the morning and evening shifts. Online booking for the jungle safari is expected to open on October 31st.
Amangarh Tiger Reserve is home to a diverse range of wildlife. It hosts tigers, elephants, and leopards, as well as herds of deer and 177 species of birds. Before the jungle safari operations began, even forest staff rarely spotted bears within the reserve; however, during the summer months, sightings of bears by tourists became quite common.
Amangarh is also home to striped hyenas, though they have yet to be spotted by either forest staff or tourists. The Forest Department plans to conduct a survey to document the various wildlife species present in the reserve. With preparations now complete, the jungle safari is set to commence on November 1st.
Work on repairing forest trails and clearing view lines is nearly finished. The online booking system is also expected to be operational ahead of the safari launch.

The jungle safari at Amangarh will begin on November 1st, with the online booking system launching shortly. We invite tourists to visit and enjoy the world of wildlife. Jai Singh Kushwaha, DFO
