Amritpal Singh becoming a political party is the biggest challenge for Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), because Akali Dal calls itself the biggest supporter of the Panth. The graph of Akali Dal has fallen rapidly on the issue of incidents of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the year 2015 and pardon to Ram Rahim. The Panthic vote bank has moved away from Akali Dal.
