This time, Punjab’s tableau will be seen in the parade to be held on 26 January on the Kartavya Path of Delhi. From Punjab’s agriculture to Phulkari has been given place in the tableau. The tableau is dedicated to Baba Sheikh Farid. This tableau has been prepared after about 21 days of hard work.
The tableau that reached the rehearsal of the parade is touching everyone’s heart. The team that prepared it is very excited. At the same time, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu also came to see this tableau. He himself has shared photos and information related to it on his social media account x.
He has written in the post that my heart beats for Punjab. The tableau is mesmerizing. I could not stop myself from taking pictures of this tableau.
These four things will be special in the tableau
1. Dr. Randeep Singh Ahluwalia, who reached Delhi with this tableau, while talking to the media said that the tableau of Punjab has been shown in four parts. In the front part of the trailer, Punjab is an agricultural state, so in the first part there is a pair of oxen ploughing. Which symbolizes that Punjab has an important contribution in making the country self-sufficient in the field of grains.
2. The folk music of Punjab is known all over the world. A scene of folk music in traditional attire is shown. In it, artists are shown with old musical instruments of Punjab.
3. The third part of the tableau is also very important. In this, a girl from Punjab is shown sitting outside her house and taking out a Phulkari. This shows the old heritage of Punjab.
4. In the fourth part of the tableau, the first Punjabi poet of Punjab, Baba Sheikh Farid, is shown. Because of him, Punjabi literature is reaching new heights. At the same time, the trailer part displayed the carpets made at home by the women of Punjab. Apart from this, there are scenes of Phulkari.
Tableaux were rejected last year
Last year, the central government had cancelled the tableaux of 26 January and the Defense Ministry had also said that Punjab’s tableau would be sent to Bharat Parv in Delhi. At that time, the state’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had said that he would not send Punjab’s tableau in the rejected category.
Also, Punjab’s tableaux will be taken out in Punjab and Delhi only. So that people can be made aware of Punjab’s rich heritage. CM Mann had said that we know how to respect the sacrifices of our martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Udham Singh Mai Bhago, Kartar Singh Sarabha, Gadri Bebe and Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
Tableaux were taken from village to village
After the tableaux were rejected last year, CM Bhagwant Mann had ordered that Punjab’s tableaux, which were excluded from the parade to be held in Delhi on Republic Day on 26 January, will go to every street and locality of the state till the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The Punjab government had planned that the tableaux would be taken around Punjab in the same style as they are shown in the Republic Day parade. They were decorated on trolleys and taken to every village of each assembly constituency.
