The big reason for Ram Rahim coming to the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa after 7 and a half years has come to light. According to the top sources of the Dera, Ram Rahim has come here to settle the ongoing dispute over the throne of the Dera. This dispute was earlier going on between Ram Rahim’s family and main disciple Honeypreet. After which the family went abroad. Now the dispute was going on between Honeypreet and the Dera Management Committee.
According to sources, to end the dispute, Ram Rahim can give the power of the Dera to his main disciple and adopted daughter Honeypreet. For this, power of attorney from the management of the Dera to finance etc. can be given to Honeypreet. However, the Dera Management is not confirming this at the moment.
Why is there a need to give power of attorney to Honeypreet?
According to sources related to the Dera, if a decision has to be taken immediately on any matter regarding the activities of the Dera, then there is a lot of trouble in it. For this, the Dera Management Committee has to wait for Ram Rahim to come on parole.
In case of a long delay, the Dera committee has to meet Ram Rahim in jail. However, they face a lot of trouble in this. Honeypreet is considered to be Ram Rahim’s closest and confidant. In such a situation, there is also a discussion internally in the Dera that Honeypreet can be given the command of the Dera.
1. Honeypreet is the main disciple in all papers
Ram Rahim has made Honeypreet the main disciple. When Ram Rahim came on parole for the first time in February 2022, he got the names of his father and family removed from his Aadhar card and family identity card. He got the name of his guru Satnam Singh inscribed in front of his father’s name and got himself marked as his main disciple. At the same time, he did not get the names of his wife and mother written in the family identity card and got only Honeypreet’s name registered as the main disciple.
2. The throne is handed over only to the main disciple
There is a tradition in Dera Sacha Sauda that the throne is handed over only to the one who is the main disciple of the current throne holder. Since Ram Rahim is the current ruler and Honeypreet is the main disciple, in such a situation, according to tradition, it is being speculated that she will be the next heir to the throne.
3. The family went to London only after the rift with Honeypreet
Ram Rahim’s children have settled abroad. These include his daughters Amarpreet and Charanpreet Kaur, as well as son Jasmeet. The Dera chief’s mother Naseeb Kaur and wife Harjeet Kaur are in the country but their names are not in the documents. According to sources in the Dera, he had a dispute with Honeypreet. The family was trusting the Dera management but Honeypreet was interfering in it.
4. Honeypreet has got the right to take political decisions
According to Dera sources, Honeypreet’s interference had increased a lot after Ram Rahim’s family went abroad. Being Ram Rahim’s main disciple, she was taking many important decisions of the Dera. Apart from this, Ram Rahim had also given the right to take political decisions related to the Dera to Honeypreet. The reason for the dispute with the family and the management was also Honeypreet’s meeting with the leaders.
5. Ram Rahim has also changed Honeypreet’s name
Ram Rahim had also changed Honeypreet’s name in October 2022. Ram Rahim had named Honeypreet as Ruhani Didi (Ruh Di). Then Ram Rahim came on 40-day parole. This also increased the speculation that before giving the right of the Dera, Ram Rahim is giving some such name in place of Honeypreet’s worldly name, so that she can be revealed as the successor of the Dera.
