Mega Parents Teacher Meeting (PTM) is going on in 18 thousand government schools of Punjab today (5 February). A large number of parents of children are reaching to attend the meeting. They are being given a grand welcome. Apart from this, ministers and MLAs of Punjab are also attending the PTM going on in the schools of their respective constituencies.
In this episode, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak reached two schools of Pathankot. On this occasion, he told that while the Punjab government is getting teachers trained in teaching and management from abroad, in the coming days, the students who are consistently coming in merit will be taken on a tour of historical places of the whole country. This tour will be of six days. Children will benefit a lot from this. They will get a chance to learn a lot of new things.
Bus service started for the first time
On this occasion, the minister said that after his government came to power, the face of schools in Punjab has changed. Students in government schools are being provided facilities on the lines of private schools. Yesterday, the Education Department has released an amount of two crore rupees for Pathankot.
At the same time, he said that students are benefiting from this. They are competing not only with students of their own country but also with students of other countries of the world. Apart from this, the first security guard and bus facility has been started in schools. Uniforms and books are being distributed to the students on time.
