Haryana’s civil secretariat campus and building will be a bee-free zone. The government has taken it seriously after the bee attack on February 18. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi has directed Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Agriculture Raja Shekhar Kundu to solve this problem of the secretariat.
For two days, Saturday and Sunday, the team of the Agriculture Department will work to remove beehives from the entire campus. It is likely that the campus will be declared a bee-free zone on Monday.
Four days ago, there was chaos due to the bee attack
Let us tell you that, on the afternoon of February 18, the Haryana Secretariat campus was attacked by bees. During this, there was chaos in the entire secretariat. When the bees attacked the employees, many employees sat on the ground covering themselves with a cloth.
During this time, the political secretary of Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan was stung by bees, due to which his condition became critical. He was hurriedly admitted to the dispensary of the MLA hostel, where he was treated, now his condition is improving.
CISF jawans saved many people
The CISF jawans posted at the Civil Secretariat had saved many people from the attack of bees. The jawans had chased the bees away with jackets. A video of this also surfaced. In this video, it is seen that except the worker, the bees had also started chasing the CISF jawans. They ran and saved themselves. After this incident, everyone expressed gratitude to Constable Suleman Khan and Head Constable Vijay Kumar of the Quick Response Team.
2500 employees working in the secretariat
Let us tell you that there are about two and a half thousand employees in the Haryana and Punjab Civil Secretariat. Many times they go out for a walk. Officers and employees work here till late evening. Regarding the bees, the officials of the Employee Officers Association say that complaints have been made many times before, but no cognizance has been taken in this matter yet.

Two videos of about 20 and 10 seconds of the incident have surfaced. In the 10-second video, it is seen that a person is sitting on the ground in the secretariat premises wearing his jacket. He is trying to save himself from the attack of the bees.
A CISF jawan is also present near him, who is trying to save him. The jawan is also trying to save himself, so he is not going too close to the person sitting on the ground.
In the second video, the worker is rescued from the bees
At the same time, in the 20-second video, it is seen that the CISF personnel have reached the person sitting on the ground. A vehicle has also come nearby. The CISF personnel take the jacket of the worker sitting on the ground and start chasing away the bees. As soon as the jacket is lifted, the person sitting on the ground gets up and enters the vehicle that has come nearby.
With this, the vehicle starts moving. After this, leaving the person sitting on the ground, the bees start chasing the CISF soldiers. The CISF soldiers shake off their jackets and run away from there and get rid of the bees.
