Police has arrested a fake IAS. He has been identified as Pawan Kumar of Rajasthan, who used to cheat in the name of getting jobs. According to the police, the accused had written Bharat Sarkar on his car.
The accused used to lure people with the promise of jobs through some acquaintances. He used to introduce himself as an IAS officer and then he used to call the victims to Mohali to meet him. Where he used to deal with people for getting jobs.
Many fake documents recovered
During the investigation, the police have also recovered fake ID cards and fake documents of many government departments from the accused. The police have produced the accused in the court and obtained a two-day remand.
It has come to light that he had called some people to Mohali on the pretext of getting them jobs. During the conversation, they had an argument over something. This made the hotel staff suspicious and they informed the police.
The accused is a resident of Rajasthan
During interrogation at the police station, it has come to light that the accused’s car is registered in the name of some other person. The accused is handicapped in both legs. He tells people that he has become an IAS officer through the handicapped quota.
He is originally from Rajasthan, while he claims to be an officer of the Government of India posted in Punjab.
