Ground booking for concerts and live shows in Chandigarh will be expensive, now you will have to pay 5 lakh instead of 30 thousand

Date:

Organising any concert or live show of a singer in the city will now become expensive. The estate department has decided to increase the booking rate of the ground. The new booking rate will also be applicable to commercial events.

Now musical shows will be held in Sector-25 rally ground

Till now commercial events and shows were held in Sector-34’s exhibition ground. But seeing the problems of the people, the administration decided that now singer’s musical shows will be held in Sector-25 rally ground. The venue of singer AP Dhillon’s show was also changed from Sector-34 to Sector-25 rally ground. This show was held on 21 December.

The estate department has now decided that for the show in which there will be a crowd of more than five thousand, the booking charge of the ground will be Rs. 5 lakh. The proposal to increase the rate has been sent to the Chief Secretary by the estate department for approval, which is expected to be approved this week.

Honey Singh’s concert will be held on 23 March

Yo Yo Honey Singh’s concert is to be held in the city on 23 March. For this, the property department has not booked the ground yet. Due to the increase in rates, their ground has not been booked yet. According to the property department, at present the rate of booking of Sector-34 Exhibition Ground per day is Rs 30,000, so if it becomes five lakh, the charges will increase 17 times.

No rate of Sector-25 rally ground has been fixed by the administration. The main reason for this is that this ground has been fixed only for dharna and demonstration. No fee is charged for this.

The administration has now decided that the singers’ shows will now be held in Sector-25 rally ground only, so now the need to fix its booking rate has also been felt. According to the administration, the organizers earn crores of rupees from the shows of famous singers while the rate of the ground is quite nominal, so the administration should also collect revenue from the booking.

Honey Singh’s show may shift to Panchkula

There are also speculations that singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s musical show may shift from Chandigarh to Panchkula. The organizers of the show were earlier contacting the administration to get the show held in Chandigarh but they were not booking it as the rate of Sector-25 rally ground was not fixed.

So now they are not contacting the property department for the time being. Whereas people are very excited about Honey Singh’s show.

The rate of the programs of common people will not increase

According to the administration, only the rates of commercial events and shows will be increased while the booking rate for the programs of the general public will not be increased. In such a situation, the rate will be charged at the rate of Rs 30 thousand per day. It is known that non-commercial religious programs are also held in Sector-34 ground.
