The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is currently after drug smugglers. For the last few days, the Mann government has taken action with bulldozers on the houses of many drug smugglers. In this episode, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh objected to Mann’s bulldozer action. After which his reaction was opposed. On this, former cricketer Harbhajan Bhajji has once again reacted on X.
Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh posted on X and wrote that I want to make this thing very clear. The Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab is the first government to take such strict action against drug smugglers in Punjab. I stand in full support of the Punjab Police and the government. Finally we have a government that is serious about the eradication of drugs and the message is clear. Together we will win this war against drugs. Let us make our great state free from any kind of addiction.
What did Harbhajan Singh say earlier?
Earlier, the former cricketer had said about Mann’s bulldozer action that if someone takes drugs, then he should be explained how drugs can prove to be dangerous for him. He said that where a family is living under one roof, it is not right to demolish the roof.
The former cricketer said that when a family or some people live under one roof, then he does not consider it right to demolish their roof. He said that if someone is occupying government land or Shamlat land, then the government can take it back at any time.
Somnath Bharti opposed
Aam Aadmi Party leader Somnath Bharti condemned the statement given by Harbhajan Singh and said that the one who is freeing Punjab from this problem and who is getting the youth rid of this problem, should be accepted. Somnath Bharti said that the action being taken by the Punjab government to make Punjab drug free should be accepted. He (Harbhajan Singh) is a youth icon, has been the hero of the country, is a Rajya Sabha MP. Our leader is always available for him (Harbhajan Singh). He should not ask such questions which violate decorum and decorum is that he should speak outside the party. Somnath Bharti said that Bhagwant Mann’s dedication against drug abuse will have very positive results.
