Today (March 20) is the ninth day of the budget session of the Haryana Assembly. The proceedings of the House will begin with Question Hour at 11 am. In which the MLAs will ask questions to the ministers of the government. After this, the budget will be discussed.

CM Naib Saini presented the state budget of more than 2 lakh crores for the first time on March 17. After this, in the proceedings of the House, Congress MLAs are raising questions on the figures of the ministers. At the same time, BJP MLAs are cornering them by raising the issues of the time of the Congress government. Congress has walked out of the House twice so far.

March 19: Hooda said – I resign, Anil Vij said – I am 45 years old

As soon as the zero hour started in the House, there was an uproar over the inspector recruitment done in 2008. Bhupendra Hooda, while reading out the court’s decision, said that there is no question on his government. But, CM Naib Saini started repeating the whole matter. On this, Hooda got angry and said that if what he is saying is true then I resign. Anil Vij also jumped into this matter saying that Hooda is misleading the House. In return, Hooda asked Vij’s age. Vij said that my age is 45 years.

At the same time, during the post-lunch proceedings in the House, some officers did not arrive. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan got angry about this. He said in the House that the officers should be present in the House immediately. Their presence in the House is mandatory.

At the same time, during the discussion on the budget, BJP’s woman MLA from Pataudi, Gurugram, Bimla Chaudhary, raised the issue of drainage of dirty water in the House and narrated a story in which she used objectionable words. When the Speaker interrupted her, Bimla apologized.

At the same time, BJP MLA from Safidon, Jind, Ramkumar Gautam said that during the tenure of former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, on my suggestion, a pension of four thousand rupees was imposed for unmarried people. Now the CM is Nayab Singh Saini. He told the CM to get the unmarried people a job in Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL). They will get at least 15 thousand rupees. They will get married.

March 18: CM said- Fluid was applied in Inspector recruitment and failed candidates were passed

BJP MLA Omprakash Yadav raised the issue of recruitment of 20 inspectors in 2008 during the Congress government on the pretext of the High Court’s decision. Yadav said- the child who was at the top was made to be at the bottom. The failed candidates were passed. Among them was the nephew of the then Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda. Congressmen started creating a ruckus on this. Then CM Naib Saini stood up and said- Fluid was applied and failed candidates were passed. On this, Congress MLAs first raised slogans in the well and then walked out.

When the name of Minister Anil Vij came up in the House, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that I asked his age. He did not tell till date, said- I am counting. Why is he not telling his age. I think today his age has reached around 75, he is feeling that BJP might sack him.

In the House, Vinesh Phogat raised the issue of erosion in the drains passing through 5 villages during the rainy season and waterlogging in the fields. Irrigation Minister Shruti Chaudhary said that water does not accumulate there. Vinesh again said that till the drain is not cemented, there will be no relief. On this, Shruti Chaudhary said – If any disaster comes, then the action plan is ready.

March 17: CM presented the budget

CM Naib Saini presented the state’s budget of 2 lakh 5 thousand 17 crores at 2 pm. Saini read 80 pages of the budget speech in 2 hours 57 minutes. The biggest feature of the budget was the allocation of a budget of 5 thousand crores to give Rs 2100 per month to women above 18 years of age.

However, the CM said that the criteria for which women will get this is yet to be decided. The CM announced free insurance of up to 20 lakhs for national-international players, Rs 10 lakhs for business to Olympic medalist players, a loan of 5 crores with 2% subsidy for opening an academy in your district and increasing the diet money from Rs 400 to Rs 500.

The target of providing 50 lakh jobs to the youth under Mission-2047 was also announced. A minimum monthly pension of Rs 10,000 was announced for the employees under the Unified Pension Scheme.

13 March: CM announced CET exam

CM Nayab Saini announced in the House that Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted for Group C-D recruitment in Haryana in the month of May. CM also took a dig at Congress that Hooda talked about giving 2 lakh jobs in the elections. One of their candidates used to say that there are 2000 jobs in our quota. They were distributing one job in exchange for 50 votes.

On hearing this, Congressmen walked out. At the same time, CM said about Vinesh Phogat that she has asked why players are not getting respect, our Sports Minister has given her a complete answer in detail, but she is not ready to accept it. We have a saying here about playing the flute, so no matter how much you say, it is of no use.

12 March: MLA told about job on slip, Hooda said- forgot the briefcase scandal

BJP MLA Ram Kumar Gautam, while discussing the Governor’s address, said that in the government of former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, jobs started being given on merit in the state. I have also given a slip to Hooda sahab. On this, former CM Hooda immediately said- he is talking about me, why is he not talking about himself.

11 March: MLA said- Jalebi of Gohana is not pure, Minister said- I will leave politics

In the assembly, Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said- Jalebi of Gohana was also mentioned in the Haryana elections, it did not stop here. This discussion reached Maharashtra, then reached Delhi and it has not stopped yet, it will continue. Amidst this discussion, BJP MLA from Safidon Ramkumar Gautam said- Jalebi of Gohana is no longer pure.

On this, Minister Arvind said – If he proves even one thing about the transaction, I will leave politics.

March 10: In response to BJP President’s gangrape case, drug in MLA hostel

In the House, Congress MLA Raghuvir Kadian talked about the notice on the gangrape case registered against BJP state president Mohan Lal Baroli. On this, Minister Krishna Bedi said that Krishna Hooda is not in this world today, but the nephew of a Congress leader was caught selling drugs in the MLA hostel.

On hearing this, Bhupendra Hooda said that it is better not to discuss about something that is not present in the House. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan supported Hooda’s words. On which the matter cooled down. INLD MLA Arjun Chautala said that the MS Swaminathan Award given to the Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Agriculture University of Hisar is fake. March 7: Governor said – Interview in recruitment has been abolished

On this day, the budget session of the assembly started. In which Governor Bandaru Dattatreya delivered his address. While enumerating the works of the government, he said that Haryana is the first state to give MSP on 24 crops. The government has abolished interviews in Group C-D recruitments. Sarpanchs have been given the right to do work up to 21 lakhs without tender. Gratuity of employees is 25 lakhs. Rs 1 crore is being given to the families of martyrs. The governor also said that flights will start soon from Hisar airport. Haryana will become the first state to implement 3 new criminal laws by 31 March 2025. Congress participated without the Leader of Opposition since the beginning of the Budget Session.
