2 leopards have entered Panchkula in Haryana. This was revealed when a car rider made a video of both of them sitting on the road. However, as soon as the headlights of the car fell on them, both of them ran towards the forest.
After this, the forest department has come into action. Seeing the movement of leopards, they have asked people to remain alert. Apart from this, they have been asked not to go out of their homes alone at night and to avoid going towards the forest.
A few days ago also, people had seen 2 leopards roaming on the hill. People had made a video of them by lighting a torch. However, no case of leopards causing any harm to anyone has come to light.

According to the forest department, these 2 leopards were seen in Gumthala village of Panchkula 3 days ago. The person who saw them was coming home in a car at night. When he saw the leopards in the middle of the way, he stopped the car and made a video of both the leopards. However, seeing the headlights of the car, both of them ran towards the forest. However, the person who made the videos has now made them public, after which everyone came to know about it.
The department said – cages cannot be put here
According to the forest department, this is a forest area, so cages cannot be put here. The villagers have been alerted. Wild animals keep coming to all the villages of Morni area. The department also keeps an eye here. Leopards have come to Panchkula city from Morni forest many times.
Villagers said – leopards have attacked animals 3 times
Pramod Kumar, a resident of Gumthala, said that leopards have attacked his village 3 times in the last 3 years.
Rama had 40 to 50 goats in the village. About 3 years ago, the leopard started eating his goats every day. Out of compulsion, Rama had to sell the remaining goats and work as a security guard.
Similarly, a leopard had taken away the buffalo calf of Pyare Lal Nambardar, who lives in the same village. Which he killed.
The leopards have also eaten all the dogs roaming in the village. In such a situation, there is a danger of their attack on humans.
They were also seen roaming on the adjacent hill
According to the information, 4 days ago, the villagers had seen both the leopards at night in Uparli Chowki village. Both were roaming on a hill. Seeing them, some people of the village gathered and made a video. Let us tell you that Uparli Chowki and Gumthala villages are located in the hilly area near Sector-32, where the movement of wild animals is often seen.
There has been a stir due to the sighting of a leopard on Khijrabad-Bhoodkala road near Pratapnagar in Yamunanagar. This leopard collided with a bike rider passing by while crossing the road, due to which his paw got injured. After this, the leopard immediately attacked the bike rider. Due to this, the bike rider got injured. Also, due to being injured, the leopard also remained lying on the road for a long time.
Leopard entered Rewari. The leopard entered a tin shed built in the plot and started resting. When a young man from the village saw it, he showed bravery and closed the gate of the tin shed. After this, a wildlife team was called from Gurugram.
