A rocket has also been found fallen in Kamahi Devi in Hoshiarpur. Explosions were heard at 8:15 pm in Ucchi Bassi. There is an army camp here.

Pakistan attacked a day before as well
On Thursday night, the airbase in Pathankot was targeted. According to news agency ANI, a Pakistani jet has been shot down in Pathankot. However, this has not been confirmed by the government. Drone attacks took place at two places in Jalandhar. However, India’s air defense system destroyed them in the sky itself. There was no damage in the attack. Drone movement was also seen in Bathinda.
Earlier, on the night of 7-8 May, Pakistan fired rockets and missiles at military bases in Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Adampur, Ludhiana, Bathinda and Chandigarh in Punjab. However, India’s air defense system neutralized the missiles in the sky itself. Rockets and their pieces were found fallen in 4 villages of Amritsar, Dudhala, Jethuwal, Pandher and Makhanwindi.
Punjab government on alert, team of ministers will reach border districts
Punjab government has started preparing to deal with the situation. After the cabinet meeting today, 10 ministers will visit the border districts. They will inspect hospitals, fire stations, ration and emergency services. Ministers Lal Chand Kataruchak and Dr. Ravjot Singh will go to Gurdaspur, while Kuldeep Dhaliwal and Mohinder Bhagat will take charge of Amritsar.
