Haryana (Haryana News) Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reacted sharply to the Punjab government’s stand on the water dispute and said that the AAP government of Punjab neither respects the Constitution nor the constitutional institutions nor respects the Constitution.

He said that Punjab is the land of Gurus. From time to time the Gurus have always given the message of goodness and welfare and we are moving forward with their teachings. When Punjab and Haryana were one, there was no discrimination, but today the Mann government is creating this discrimination to gain political mileage. We are demanding water for Haryana’s rights.
‘The High Court gave its decision after listening to both the parties’
CM Saini said that the High Court has given its decision after thinking and listening to both the parties. Taking a dig at the Chief Minister of Punjab, he said that not accepting the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court is an insult to the constitutional bench. Not accepting constitutional decisions has been their nature.
Don’t do politics on water: CM Saini
Our Constitution is supreme and it is the responsibility of people like us who hold constitutional posts to respect the constitutional bench. But ignoring the decision of the High Court and not accepting it, going to the dam and locking it and sitting on a dharna is not right. The Chief Minister said that the people of Haryana need drinking water.
With time, there is a problem of water. This life runs on water, but the Chief Minister of Punjab is sitting with water to shine his politics. When the water level in the dam was less than today, even then Haryana got its full share of water. What has happened today? Don’t do politics on water.
