There was a stir due to the information of bomb in Haryana MLA Hostel located in Sector 3 of Chandigarh. The bomb disposal squad and fire brigade employees who reached the spot together conducted a thorough search of the entire MLA hostel premises. No explosive material was found from the spot during the investigation, after which everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Police engaged in search of the accused who gave false information
After 2.30 pm, information was received at the reception of the MLA hostel that there is a bomb here. Seeing the sensitivity of the matter, the employees who came into action immediately informed the Chandigarh Police. In a hurry, the bomb disposal squad and fire brigade employees reached the MLA hostel and the investigation campaign was started.
Police did not find any objectionable material
The entire campus was searched, but no explosive or objectionable material was found anywhere. Chandigarh Police has started searching for the person who gave false information. The details of all the phone calls received in the MLA hostel are being scrutinized so that the person spreading the rumor can be caught.
Very important people keep coming and going in the MLA hostel. Also there are residences of MLAs and Haryana Niwas and Punjab Bhawan. On receiving information about the bomb, the police had stopped the movement of all vehicles here so that any untoward situation could be dealt with. During the investigation, the employees of the MLA hostel also appeared scared.
