Chief Minister Mann also said that the ‘Farishte Yojana’ for road accident victims will now be extended to war and terrorism victims as well. Along with this, the cabinet has also decided to implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and promote maize cultivation.

Chief Minister Mann said that Punjab shares a 532 km border with Pakistan. He said that six of our districts are connected to the Pakistan border. The BSF is helping us. The BSF already has anti-drone systems. But we will buy more systems and help the security personnel. Drones will not be allowed to enter our area and they will be shot down. Punjab stands with India.
‘Will work together with the army’
The Chief Minister said that the government is in constant touch with the Deputy Commissioners and Tehsildars of the border areas. He said that we will work together with the army. There is no need to panic, do not pay attention to any rumors. Some shells have been found in the fields, but Punjabis are not afraid of anyone. They have always stood with the country. Punjab will protect the tricolor and its water. We have filled all the vacant posts in the border areas so that we can have full control over the situation.
Chief Minister Mann made another important announcement. He said that the scope of ‘Farishte Yojana’ will be expanded. Now this scheme will also include victims of war and terrorism.
