A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Panchkula, Haryana. 7 members of the same family, burdened by debt, committed suicide by consuming poison. After finding the bodies of all in the car, there was a stir in the area and the police department.
Now a new revelation has come to light in the case that the family was from Dehradun and had come to listen to Hanuman Katha at Bageshwar Dham in Panchkula. After listening to the story, the family was returning by car, when all of them committed suicide by consuming poison on the way.
The deceased have been identified
Initial investigation has revealed that the deceased have been identified as Praveen Mittal, his father Deshraj Mittal, wife, mother, two daughters and a son. At around 11:00 pm on Monday night, the police received information that some people were in critical condition in a car parked outside house number 1204 in Sector-27.
When the police ERV arrived, six people were writhing in pain in the car. They were immediately taken to Ojas Hospital in Sector-26. Shortly after, another person was found writhing in pain outside the house, who was admitted to Sector-6 Civil Hospital.
The family was under heavy debt
All seven died during treatment. According to police sources, people close to the family said that the family was under heavy debt. Praveen Mittal had recently started a tour and travel business in Dehradun, in which he suffered huge losses. The family took this tragic step due to financial constraints.
Police also found a suicide note
Police said that they have also found a suicide note at the spot. An eyewitness said that when he was passing by in a car, he found a person in suspicious condition. This person was Praveen Mittal. Praveen told that his family members were sleeping in the car.
When the eyewitness got suspicious, he opened the door of the car and saw that everyone was foaming at the mouth. After this, Praveen told that he too had consumed poison and he too would die in a short while.
