Corona has started increasing in Haryana. 5 new cases were found on Wednesday. A total of 21 cases have been reported in the state so far. Of these, 18 cases are active while 3 patients have recovered. Out of a total of 21, 10 patients have been found in Gurugram and 9 in Faridabad.
Of the 5 new patients found on Wednesday, 3 are from Faridabad and 2 from Gurugram. Travel history of 2 out of 3 patients from Faridabad was found. One of them had recently returned from Vietnam, while the other has come from Andhra Pradesh.
Of the two new patients found in Gurugram, one is 74 years old and the other is 37 years old. No travel history of both was revealed.
Meanwhile, in view of the increasing cases of corona in Haryana, CM Naib Singh Saini held a meeting of the Health Department at the Secretariat in Chandigarh. Health Minister Aarti Rao and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Health Department Sudhir Rajpal were present in the meeting.
At the same time, one person died of corona in Chandigarh on Wednesday. He was undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College in Sector 32. He was having trouble breathing for 3 days. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar (40), a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh.
Doctor Dharni of Sector-32 Hospital said that Rajkumar had come to Chandigarh after being referred from Ludhiana. He had come to Ludhiana some time ago. He had fever after coming here.
Corona confirmed in 10 people in Gurugram: The patient found corona positive in Gurugram on Friday (May 23) was 45 years old. He is a resident of Sector 52 in Wazirabad. He has no travel history, but keeps moving around in the city. He is in a private job. Apart from this, a 31-year-old woman was found positive in Gurugram. She had recently returned from Mumbai. After this, when the fever did not subside, she was found to be Covid positive on testing. At the same time, a 62-year-old elderly living in Sector 70 was also found corona positive. The elderly had symptoms like fever and cough-cold. Apart from this, 7 other patients have also been found corona infected.
Yamunanagar woman also has asthma: A 50-year-old woman in Yamunanagar went to Mohali with a family member 10 days ago to attend a gathering. Where her health deteriorated on 17 May. After which she was admitted to Fortis. When there was no improvement for 3-4 days, a corona test was done. In this, the woman was found positive. The woman also has asthma, due to which her condition is critical.
9 people found corona infected in Faridabad: A 28-year-old youth works as a security guard in a private mall in Faridabad. He had problems like fever, cough, cold for a few days. Due to this, he was taken to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi for medical examination, where his samples were taken for corona test and the report came positive. On Monday, 2 more women were found corona positive. So far 9 cases have been reported here.
One case has also been found in Karnal: One case of corona infection has been found in Karnal city. Due to this, a ward with 22 oxygen beds has been built in the hospital here. N-95 masks, PPE kits and medicines used in the treatment of corona have been ordered. There are 2 oxygen plants in Karnal including Kalpana Chawla Medical College, all the arrangements have been completed. A separate ward of 35 beds has also been built in the medical college.
More than 10 thousand people have died due to corona in Haryana
In the corona wave in the year 2020-21, more than 10 lakh patients were found in Haryana, out of which more than 10 thousand people died. Then corona was a new disease, but now its vaccine to variants have come to the fore. Most deaths occurred in Hisar and Gurugram. The death toll in Hisar was 1189 and in Gurugram 1037. At number three, 679 people died in Panipat and 668 in Bhiwani due to corona infection.
