A war has started between Punjab government minister Lal Chand Kataruchak and Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia on the issue of mining. The minister has asked Bikram Singh Majithia to remove the post made about him on social media within two days.
Otherwise he will take legal action. The minister says that the post has been made using his wrong name regarding sand mining. By doing this, Majithia is trying to divert people’s attention from the allegations of drug smuggling against him. Every child knows his reality.

Actually, this controversy started on May 30, when the Shiromani Akali Dal leader posted a post on his social media account X. Along with this, he shared a 1.8 minute video. Mining was seen in it. Poklane and tipper etc. were visible.
Majithia had written in the post – Illegal mining is happening in Punjab. In village Shahpur Gopi, Police Station Taragarh, District Pathankot. Illegal mining is being done at the behest of Minister Kataruchak. At the end he wrote, where has Bhagwant Mann ji gone? There was a claim of filling the treasury with sand mining. The treasury is still getting filled, but not of Punjab, but of the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party.
The minister replied with five points in six minutes
Only after this, Minister Kataruchak posted about this matter. He posted a six-minute video in his social media post. In this, about five points have been raised by him, which are as follows –
1. Accused me of mining
The minister said that he is standing at Shahpur Gopi mining site. Two days ago, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia has shared a post from his account. In which it is mentioned that mining is happening. Tipper and trolleys are going. Taking my name, the leader said that this illegal mining is being done by Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak. Broadly, it has been tried that this illegal mining is happening in Bhoa constituency and the minister is getting it done.
2. Behaving like a fool
The minister said that secondly, he does not feel like replying to Bikram Singh Majithia’s statement. Because he is a fool and mentally dwarf. Who does not know the basics of politics. He is behaving politically like the fools of the streets. I did not want to reply to that, but my name was written in the post.
3. Legal site, not illegal, 46 bid
Shahpur Gopi and Gol mining site were bid legally in March. The papers of which are in my hands. I want to tell that 46 bidders participated in the bid. At the same time, the name of a company was taken, which has bought this site.
4. Who has brought drugs to every house in Punjab?
Majithia, whom every child knows. Who supplied drugs and chitta to every house in Punjab, the whole of Punjab knows this. A case has been registered against you. You are suffering the consequences of the case. You have gone to jail in the drug case. You are responsible for the destruction of Punjab. You are doing this to divert people’s attention from that responsibility.
