Gunfire erupts in Phagwara for the second consecutive day, with a Sarpanch’s shop under heavy fire.

Date:

Sensational reports of gunfire erupting in Phagwara for the second consecutive day during the festive season, especially Diwali. The ongoing events have prompted the public to question what is happening in Phagwara. According to reports, indiscriminate firing has now occurred at the village Sarpanch’s shop in Bohani village. The entire shooting incident is reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed at the scene. It’s worth noting that late last night, Sandeep, a bouncer deployed for public security at the famous Eastwood Village near Chahedu village, was attacked with sharp weapons by some youths and shot. The injured bouncer has been hospitalized in critical condition. While Phagwara police are still investigating last night’s shooting, a new case of gunfire has emerged in Bohani village within just 24 hours. It is being reported that two unidentified masked assailants, who arrived in Bohani village on a motorcycle, opened fire indiscriminately on the shops of village Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh. According to reports, approximately six rounds of fire were fired at Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh’s shop, with four bullets hitting the shutter, while two empty rounds were reportedly found lying on the ground by police arriving at the scene. It is noteworthy that the Phagwara police have not officially shared any information regarding the incident.

Speaking to reporters, Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh, son of Sujit Singh, stated that he owns a hardware and sanitary shop in the village. He stated that two unidentified masked assailants fired three to four rounds at the shutter of his shop. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the firing has created an atmosphere of panic and fear among the villagers. He stated that he has no personal enmity with anyone and that he doesn’t know why or for what purpose the attackers opened fire at his shop. Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Phagwara police officials officially confirmed the firing at Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh’s shop, stating that police recovered empty bullets from the scene. Police officials stated that three to four bullets were fired at the shutter of Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh’s shop, and the marks remain on the shutter.

It is worth noting that just a few days ago, Arun Kumar, a migrant laborer employed by farmer Amrik Singh of village Bohani in Phagwara, was seriously injured by two youths on a motorcycle near village Ranipur Kaboan. While the Phagwara police are still investigating the incident, the focus has now shifted to village Bohani, and the mystery behind the latest incident of firing at Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh’s shop remains a major mystery at the time of writing. Police claim that the investigation into the case is ongoing and the guilty attackers will be arrested soon.
