A massive fire broke out this morning in a ready-made clothing shop located in Gandhi Nagar Market, causing panic in the area. Seeing smoke rising from the shop, people nearby immediately informed the shop owner and the fire brigade.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately began rescue operations and are working to bring the fire under control. It is reported that the shop belongs to a leader who recently left the Akali Dal and joined the Aam Aadmi Party. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but there is an atmosphere of fear throughout the market. Police and fire brigade teams are present at the spot.
