The CBSE is now adopting a new method to educate children about taxes. According to reports, the CBSE has launched a new comic series in which the popular cartoon characters Motu and Patlu will teach children about taxes. The cartoon characters will explain the importance of paying taxes through their conversations. This comic series has been released by the CBSE in collaboration with the Income Tax Department and the Directorate of Public Relations.
This will teach children why taxes are paid to the government and why paying taxes is important. It can be downloaded from the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in in Hindi, English, and several other languages. Schools have also been instructed to teach children about this so that they become aware.
