News of a major incident occurring in broad daylight has emerged from Punjab. In Malout, an Anganwadi helper was murdered using a sharp-edged weapon. According to reports, the incident took place at the Anganwadi Center in Fatehpur Manianwala, where the helper was killed in broad daylight. After committing the murder, the accused fled the scene. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the spot, took custody of the body, and initiated further investigations. The deceased has been identified as Ramandeep Kaur (30).
Providing details, DSP Harbans Singh Lambi stated that Ramandeep Kaur (30)—wife of Buta Singh, a resident of Fatehpur Manianwala—was cleaning the Anganwadi Center in the morning. During this time, an individual arrived, murdered her using a sharp-edged weapon, and fled the scene. DSP Lambi added that the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the entire matter.
