Gold and Silver Prices Decline on Thursday: Check Today’s Latest Rates

A decline in gold and silver prices was recorded today. According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, the price of 24-carat gold fell to ₹155,250 on Thursday, down from ₹156,500 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold reached ₹144,380 today, compared to ₹145,550 yesterday. A decline was also observed in silver prices; today, silver is trading at ₹251,800 per kilogram, whereas its rate stood at ₹257,400 per kilogram on Wednesday.

**What Are the Rates in the International Market?**
On Comex, gold opened at a price of $4,759.20 per ounce. The previous closing price was $4,753 per ounce. At the time of writing, it was trading at $4,726.30 per ounce, marking a decline of $26.70. Silver futures on Comex opened at a rate of $77.84. The previous closing price was $77.96. At the time of writing, it was trading at $76.94 per ounce, down by $1.02.
