Following the events in Ludhiana, panic spread across Bathinda when two prestigious institutions—St. Xavier’s School and Millennium School—received threats to be blown up. Concurrently, an email containing a warning that the Bathinda Railway Station would also be targeted has surfaced.
**Police and Security Agencies on High Alert**
According to the latest reports, and with security concerns in mind, both schools were immediately evacuated, and the students were safely sent home. Meanwhile, police teams at the railway station are diligently engaged in investigations, conducting rigorous checks of passengers and their luggage. Upon receiving the threats, the police and security agencies immediately shifted into high-alert mode. Search operations were conducted within the school premises, while security arrangements at the railway station have been further tightened.
**No Suspicious Objects Confirmed So Far**
According to sources, the threat was conveyed via email, which is currently being investigated by the Cyber Cell. The police are examining the matter from every angle; as of now, the presence of any suspicious object has not been confirmed. The administration has appealed to the public to maintain calm and refrain from spreading rumors. The police have stated that, taking the matter with the utmost seriousness, they expect to apprehend the culprits very soon.
