Two young men lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Sunday evening. The two brothers riding the motorcycle died on the spot following a head-on collision between a speeding car and a bike near Parsauni Chowk, within the jurisdiction of the Itkhori police station; two occupants of the car were also injured in the incident. The police provided this information on Monday.
The police stated that the accident occurred around 7:00 PM on Sunday evening on the Choparan-Itkhori road, near Parsauni Chowk, within the Itkhori police station area. A police official identified the deceased as Rishi Paswan (19) and Abhishek Paswan (22); both were residents of Karma village, located within the Choparan police station area of the neighboring Hazaribagh district.

Itkhori Police Station In-charge Abhishek Singh stated that both individuals died on the spot following the head-on collision between the speeding car and the motorcycle. The two were cousins, and their bodies were handed over to their family members on Monday following the post-mortem examination.
He further informed that the two other individuals traveling in the car also sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. He added that their condition is stable and they are out of danger.
