In view of the possibility of adverse weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh on May 4, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed to the residents of the state to remain vigilant. He has urged people to prioritize their safety and avoid venturing out of their homes unnecessarily during storms, strong winds, and rainfall.
According to the Meteorological Department’s warning, several districts may experience strong winds, thunderstorms, and lightning strikes. Consequently, people should refrain from standing in open fields, under trees, or near utility poles. Farmers have also been urged to take necessary precautions to protect their crops and livestock.
**CM Appeals for Children to be Kept Indoors**
CM Yogi has also urged parents to ensure that children remain indoors during the inclement weather. Furthermore, he has issued directives to the administration to remain fully alert and prepared. All District Magistrates, the Police Department, and the Disaster Management Department have been placed on high alert. Relief and rescue teams have been mobilized to ensure that immediate assistance can be provided in the event of any emergency. The government stands prepared to handle any situation that may arise; however, public cooperation remains absolutely essential.
**Hailstorm Warning Issued for These Districts**
The State Meteorological Centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of heavy hailstorms in several districts. The impact is expected to be particularly severe in the Terai region and parts of Western Uttar Pradesh, specifically in the districts of Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, and Lakhimpur Kheri.
