A case has come to light involving the physical exploitation of a 14-year-old girl, including her abduction after being lured away. Acting swiftly, the police from Division No. 5 Police Station have registered a case against the 22-year-old accused, Kashiram, under various criminal sections as well as the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The girl’s mother stated that she resides with her husband and three children in an area near the local bus stand. Among the three children, her 14-year-old daughter is the youngest. The daughter works as a cleaner at a tent house located close to their home. The previous day, the mother was feeling unwell; consequently, her daughter offered to go to the tent house and handle the cleaning duties herself. She left to do the cleaning, but when she failed to return by late evening, her mother called the tent house owner on her mobile phone. She then learned that her daughter had actually finished the cleaning and left the premises by the afternoon. Following this discovery, she informed her husband and brother-in-law about their daughter’s disappearance. The family collectively searched for the girl everywhere, eventually discovering that 22-year-old Kashiram—a resident of Banda village in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, who lived in their very own neighborhood—had lured their minor daughter away and abducted her.
Further investigation revealed that the accused had also physically exploited the victim. Subsequently, the family lodged a complaint with the local police. Investigating Officer Paramjit Singh stated that the accused, Kashiram, had lived as a tenant near the victim’s home approximately three to four months prior, during which time Roshni (the victim) and Kashiram became acquainted. It was after this acquaintance that Kashiram carried out his nefarious designs. Currently, the police have registered a case against the accused, Kashiram, under the POCSO Act and other relevant criminal sections. The police are conducting raids in search of the accused.
