MPs Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, and Sandeep Pathak—who recently left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join the BJP—met with President Droupadi Murmu today. Following the meeting, Raghav Chadha stated that they had lodged a complaint with the President, alleging that government agencies are being misused by the Aam Aadmi Party and that those who have left the party are being targeted. Raghav Chadha alleged that while he was a member of the party, he was hailed as honest; however, the moment he left, he began being labeled as corrupt. He characterized this as “politics of vendetta,” wherein attempts are being made to suppress those who voice dissent.
Raghav also claimed that Harbhajan Singh ‘Bhajji’ and his family members have likewise been targeted. Furthermore, Bhajji has even been branded a “traitor.” Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against Sandeep Pathak, and a raid was conducted on Rajinder Gupta’s factory. He asserted that the deployment of these agencies is creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. In strong terms, he warned that the ultimate outcome of this politics of vendetta would be dangerous. He further predicted that the AAP government in Punjab would not last much longer.
