Thieves appear to be acting with impunity in Adda Magarmudian, located on the Gurdaspur-Dauragala Road. In a recent incident, unidentified thieves stole four batteries from two trucks parked outside a residence and fled the scene. This incident has caused concern among local residents.
Manpreet Singh, owner of ‘Preet JCB’, stated that he had parked his two trucks outside his home. Upon checking the trucks in the morning, he discovered that four batteries were missing. He mentioned that thieves had previously committed a similar theft, and this second incident has resulted in further financial loss.
Manpreet Singh added that the Dauragala police have been informed about the matter. The police have initiated an investigation and are examining footage from nearby CCTV cameras. Local residents have urged the police administration to increase night patrols to prevent such incidents in the future.
