An incident has come to light where a young man was assaulted and robbed of ₹10,000 at the Phase-3B2 market. The victim sustained serious injuries during the assault and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Phase-6 for treatment.
Investigations revealed that the victim suffered severe injuries to both eyes. Acting on the victim’s statement, the doctor informed the local police station about the incident. Harish Chandra, a resident of Phase-1, stated that he works as a cook at a house in Phase-4. He mentioned that he was planning to visit his family in his village in Uttarakhand on Friday and had taken his salary in advance from his employer. While returning home from work around 10:30 PM, he stopped at the Phase-3B2 market to buy gifts for his family before his trip.
On the way, four individuals followed him and began assaulting him, alleging that he had abused them. During the assault, one of the four men snatched ₹10,000 in cash from his shirt pocket, and they all fled the scene. Shortly thereafter, he went to the Phase-6 Civil Hospital to seek medical treatment.
