Punjab government has declared summer holidays in schools. There will be holidays in schools from 2 June to 30 June. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has given this information. During this time, there will be holidays in all government, aided and private schools. On the other hand, holidays have already been declared in Chandigarh. While summer holidays in Haryana schools will start from 1 June. However, 1 June is a Sunday.
Holidays were declared in May last year
According to the information, the heat was increasing continuously for the last few days. In such a situation, parents also wanted that holidays should be declared early. Last year, the government had declared holidays in the month of May itself. Apart from this, to keep the children connected to books, such homework was given so that they can understand the importance of their family in a playful way and can study. Special homework was prepared for this.
30 lakh students in 18 thousand schools
There are about 18 thousand government schools in Punjab. Around 30 lakh students are getting education in these schools. Apart from this, there are private schools. Meritorious schools and School of Eminence have been opened by the government.
