Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh to Lay Foundation Stone
Development works costing approximately ₹10 crore will be undertaken for five religious sites within the district. Acting on the directives of the Chief Minister, the Department of Tourism has released the necessary budget for this initiative.
On Saturday, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh will lay the foundation stone for the development works of these religious sites in Fatehjangpur village, located within the Mainpuri Assembly constituency. The development of these sites, with a specific focus on tourism potential, is set to commence shortly.
The Department of Tourism and Culture has been making continuous efforts to develop religious sites across the district. Under this initiative, development works for several temples in Mainpuri have already been completed, alongside the installation of statues of historical figures of significance.
Specifically, development works will be carried out at the following sites: Shankar Ji Maharaj Temple in Fatehjangpur (at a cost of ₹241.28 lakh), Hanuman Temple in Jakhoa (₹204.06 lakh), Nainsukh Maharaj Temple in Chandrapur (₹166.56 lakh), Bajrangbali Hanuman Temple in Khirnakhurd (₹164.56 lakh), and Brahmadev Maharaj Temple in Dhibaiya (₹155.35 lakh). The foundation stone-laying ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM. Piyush Chandel, the District Media In-charge for the Tourism Minister, has appealed to the public to participate in the event.
Two Roads to be Constructed at a Cost of ₹79.86 Lakh
Acting on the Tourism Minister’s initiative, two roads will also be constructed in Mainpuri at a total cost of ₹79.86 lakh: one connecting Junhesa Pathshala to Sahuriya village, and another extending from Suresh Rajput’s residence in Naurangpur village to the Firozpur road. The construction of these roads will be executed by the State Agricultural Produce Market Committee (Mandi Parishad).
