Their audacity knew no bounds; just a few days after this incident—on May 29—while delivery man Manoj Kumar was standing near Bapu Market, two other youths (un-turbaned), riding a Platina motorcycle, arrived at the spot.
Upon arrival, the accused intimidated and threatened Manoj Kumar at gunpoint, forcibly snatching 650 rupees in cash and a gas cylinder from him. Seeing the miscreants flee, Manoj Kumar fearlessly began shouting for help. As bystanders started gathering upon hearing the commotion, the accused—panicked by the fear of being caught—abandoned the stolen gas cylinder right there at the scene and fled on their motorcycle with lightning speed. When the agency’s employees conducted their own independent search and investigation into the theft, they conclusively discovered that the crime had been perpetrated by two cunning miscreants named Gurpinder Singh and Rinku. The police state that roadblocks have been set up at various locations and claim that these miscreants will soon be arrested and put behind bars.
