India is all set to celebrate its 76th Republic Day. Republic Day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26 January 1950. The important day also commemorates India’s democratic ideals, rich history and the unity that binds its diverse population. The 76th Republic Day will be marked by vibrant celebrations, grand parades and cultural events across the country. The Republic Day parade will be held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The parade will showcase India’s achievements and progress, with President Murmu hoisting the national flag.
